Starting Wednesday April 1, 2020: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM and Saturday 9AM - 12PM.
Just a reminder, we do offer self-service banking with 24/7 account access through out mobile app and online banking. If you need any help accessing your account, contact us at 952.698.7228. After-hours deposits can be made at our deposit taking ATM or in our night-drop ofr us to process the next business day.
The Minnesota Credit Union Network (MnCUN) would like to urge Minnesotans to work with their credit union on any financial concerns they may have, rather than withdrawing large amount of cash. All Minnesota credit union deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) per individual up to $250,000, just as bank deposits are insured by the FDIC. Any withdrawal of cash eliminates the NCUA insurance and could put people’s public safety at risk.
“Minnesota Credit Unions are safe, sound and secure, and have plans ready in national emergencies,” MnCUN President and CEO Mark Cummins said. “The NCUA insurance that all of our members have is meant to provide consumers’ confidence during times of uncertainty. Minnesota Credit Unions are committed to meeting the financial needs of our members through this evolving situation.”

Star Choice Credit Union is closely monitoring the coronavirus disease (COVID–19). We are learning more about this disease and how to protect our members and employees. We recommend reviewing the CDC website that has many resources including frequently asked questions, travel recommendations, and regular updates about the situation.
Nothing is more important to us than your safety, and we are doing everything we can to ensure the well-being of our members and employees. Star Choice has put together a business continuity plan for scenarios such as this. We will provide important updates to our members with notifications on our website, mobile and online banking, our Facebook page, and emails if and when appropriate (as needed).
We encourage you to access your account from home 24/7 using online banking or the Star Choice Mobile App to view transactions, check balances, make payments, and more. We've made several enhancements that make it easier than ever to manage your account digitally.
We have contingency plans to enable employees to work remotely if required - thus we are prepared for any interruptions caused by quarantines or restrictions. We are also monitoring state and local health organizations and will follow appropriate government guidance.
In the coming days Star Choice will do Pandemic preparedness Training with all employees. We will update you via email, Website, Mobile and Online Banking and Facebook as to the date and time.
Beware of scams related to coronavirus
Scammers are taking advantage of people’s fears surrounding Coronavirus. They are setting up websites selling bogus products, offering medical advice to take your personal information, and creating fake charities to steal donations. Here are some tips to avoid the most common Coronavirus scams.
Basic protective measures
- Wash your hand frequently
- Maintain social distancing
- Drink lots of water
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
- Cover your cough and sneeze
